This video started with a simple idea from Carly — using what we already have around us in the woodland to create something genuinely useful.

We won’t say what it is at the start, because half the fun was working it out as we went along… but by the end of the video we test it properly and the results honestly surprised us.

As we settle into life in the forest, we’re trying to find small, natural ways to support ourselves — especially coming up to Christmas — using traditional materials, simple methods, and a lot of trial and error.

This isn’t mass production, it isn’t perfect, and it certainly isn’t factory-made — but it is honest, natural, and something we’re proud to try.

If you enjoy woodland living, simple self-reliance, traditional skills, and watching ideas turn into real-world experiments, you’ll probably enjoy this one.

CArly, DOm & HAnk make up the crew of Cadoha. We're challenging ourselves to a new life on the water, exploring and showing off some of the best-kept secrets along our home shores.
