In this episode Malia gets into a narly motorcycle crash and learns a hard lesson, to listen to her parents!
We head to Cabarete, Dominican Republic. When we get there we realize there are no VRBO's available, so Noah Malia's new friend lets us stay at his condo.
We take off to go see the 27 waterfalls. It's beautiful, and we really loved it. Kamden wasn't feeling well and his stomach was killing him.
We headed back to Cabarete and checked out some shops and the beach.
The boys played in the water and Kamden wing foiled.
The next day we headed to The Kite Club to watch the kiteboarders. Everyone was excited so Steve signed them all up for lessons. It ended up being such a fun day! Malia got to know the guys that all worked there, and they invited her to hang out later that night. The kids all got to take a ride on the backs of some kiteboarders, even the #2 kiteboarder in the world!
We went out to dinner on the beach where we were serenaded.
The following day it was super stormy out so our lessons were all cancelled. We needed to start heading back to Samana to watch Teek's kids while they went to the superbowl. On our way home we stopped off at the Puerto Plata's Cablecar and went up the mountain. The view was amazing! We took some pictures by the statue of Jesus before heading back down. The drive home was long, but we made it.
When we arrived a bunch of new boats had come to the Marina. There was lots of new kids to play with.
We met Colette, a family of 5 traveling on a large trawler.
We celebrated Steve's birthday with a huge celebration at the Marina followed by a night of dancing on Colette.
