We finally made it to Athens! / Sailing Aquarius Ep. 163
At this point, we find out that our friends will be cruising in Croatia in about three weeks or so.
Keeping in mind that we still have to plan carefully as Meltemi winds won’t make it easy for us going north, therefore we will take every opportunity we can to get to Athens as soon as possible.
We finally reached Athens and anchored in this superb spot. It was a treat! BUT it was quite impossible to find a place to leave the boat and dingy for a day and go explore the city. Plus we still needed fuel and water, as our water maker is currently being repaired. Therefore we decided to go to the marina – only the question is – can we find a place and visit Acropolis???

Sailing Aquarius Around The World
We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
