The Maldives Yacht Rally - The only way to visit the Maldives by Sailing Yacht
The Rally starts in Landhoo Maldives on March 1st, 2023. They will provide checkin and checkout services through a local agent, and you will be able to arrive at Landhoo. No need to checkin at a different location.
Z Admiral and I have talked with many sailors that have passed through the Maldives, many have said their time in the Maldives was not as enjoyable as we had on Aquarius. But, none of the Sailors that had anything negative to say about the Maldives attended the Savaadheeththa Dhathuru Yacht Rally. This Yacht Rally is well worth any cost. A few of the biggest benefits of the Rally that no one really talks about – You get to meet and have conversations with 1) Maldives Government Officials, 2) Maldives CoastGuard officials, 3) and the Maldives Police. You will know and understand all the rules and regulations while you continue cruising the Maldives after the Rally. This is huge, because you will get the information from the source, not second hand. We love this event, and hope to see all the people next year for the 2023 Savaadheeththa Dhathuru Maldives Yacht Rally.
If you will be crossing the Indian Ocean in 2023, make it a point to arrive on the island of Landhoo on or before March 1st, 2023. You can sail from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, or Australia if you’re going West or North West. Or, you may also sail South East from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, or Bahrain. No matter where you are, if will be crossing the Indian in 2023 make a point to stop in the Maldives for the Rally.

Sailing Aquarius Around The World
We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
