Previously on Sailing Aquarius… After snorkeling at the eerie and iconic Pablo Escobar plane wreck, we faced strong currents and a sleepless night at anchor. That pushed us to prepare for one of our most nerve-wracking challenges yet: navigating the super shallow passage to Nassau.
With hurricane season approaching, we had to move quickly. But thanks to advice from fellow cruisers and seeing a 190-footer breeze through the same waters, we found the confidence to go for it — and we made it!

Sailing Aquarius Around The World
We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
