After our not so stelar experience in Penang, we take off for Langkawi – which will be our last stop in Malaysia. Z and I weigh anchor at 5 AM and set off for the Malacca Strait. Depending on the winds this could take up to 15 hours, and we don’t want to arrive after sundown. Morning darkness washes away as we give priority to several Big Ass Ships… We didn’t know it, but we are in for a treat – PERFECT SAILing conditions after what seemed like 6 long months of motoring.

We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
