Zivile and I are driving down to the Southern tip of New Zealand, and we just happened to be in Christchruch on March 15, 2019. The day that 49 people were killed in a senseless attack at two locations; Masjid Al Noor, and Linwood Masjid.
The shooting started about 1:40pm, and we didn’t know what was happening less than a mile away until about 4:30pm, when we were were put on lockdown in the bus station.
This video is completely out of sequence (as we are few months behind with our videos) but we wanted to share how it felt and how well (in our opinion) it was handled…

We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
