We were excited to continue our U.S. East Coast adventure—but leaving Charleston didn’t go quite as planned. 🌊 Something just felt off.
From rocky seas and lack of clean water to derelict boats ruining anchorages, Charleston wasn’t quite the welcome we expected. After struggling to make fresh water and dealing with questionable anchorages, we set sail for Georgetown, SC—and just as we approached the channel, a powerful squall hit us.
⛈️ Watch as we navigate rough weather, share honest cruiser opinions about Charleston, and arrive in surprisingly cute Georgetown… only to find more derelict boats there too. Oh, and a surprise: someone wants to buy Aquarius!
