This was one of the hardest videos we’ve ever had to make. After more than 8 years of adventures, 40,000 nautical miles, storms, ocean crossings, repairs, and unforgettable memories, the time has come to say goodbye to Aquarius.
In this episode, we share the emotional final days of preparing our beloved sailboat for her new owner. From celebrating small milestones, cleaning and packing in the sweltering heat, to that final heartbreaking walk away — it’s bittersweet beyond words.
We also took a short trip to Annapolis and Washington D.C. before heading home, closing this incredible chapter of our lives.
Thank you all for your kind words and heartfelt support throughout our journey. Knowing that our story has inspired and touched so many of you makes this farewell even more meaningful.

Sailing Aquarius Around The World
We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
