Bow Thruster Maintenance - We install silicon seals on an Amel Super Maramu 2000
Tips on Tuesday – Today we perform basic maintenance on the bow thruster, but we also install new Silicon Seals. This will help stop water intrusion around the bow thruster. We also install a water alarm near the bow thruster just in case of a leak. Better to know about water in the bow sooner rather than later!
I know the video is long and maybe boring for some, but it’s to help people understand how to maintain the bow thruster. Hopefully you will enjoy…

Sailing Aquarius Around The World
We are couple sailing around the world on our AMEL Super Maramu 2000 called Aquarius. We climbed career ladders, and enjoyed living in Southern California and we always loved traveling. One conversation during the dinner take a year off and go travel started shaping up. Without much of previous sailing experienced we decided to buy a boat and sail around the world, which we started in Caribbean in the beginning of 2017, and still sailing, hoping to circumnavigate the world!
