Boat life is not always bikinis and beaches. Whether on anchor or sailing around, some of the easiest tasks become an event. Coffee on a boat is one of those tasks. We used to have a push the botton electric coffee maker, but someone broke it. So, resort to the fancy pour over, which should be better coffee anyway. But the agonizing moments of waiting over the watched kettle get to the tired non coffee brain. Buy a boat, he said is muttered over and over on our Tartan 34c Hiraya. Soinis ametimes, those worrds are muttered sarcastically and other times in gasps of disbelief of the beauty surrounding us. We try to face any challenge, great or small, with a dash of humor.
