Buy a boat, he said, is the most common phrase used in our life right now as we sail around on our 1978 Tartan 34C sailboat. The phrase is both hilarious and sarcastic, which fits everyday boat life in a nut shell. When Sam suggested we buy a boat, I dreamed of never ending white sugar sand beaches. We have found a few "perfect" beaches, but the majority of the time, we are dodging waves, stepping over stingray, and stumbling over boulders to get to a little patch of sand.
