Boat kids swim, snorkel, home school, sail, explore, hike, fish, and live exciting young lives that are infinitely different from the overwhelming majority of their land-based piers.
So we went as far South as Rudder Cut Cay. While we were there, we decided that instead of going further South to Long Island, that we would rather turn around and head back North to spend more time in Eleuthera instead of having to rush.
This video is sort of a mix of clips from a short period while we were back in Blackpoint. Might as well stop there again right? I mean, were headed right by the place on our way back North, plus, they have Happy Hour. Plus there’s another cold front that’s breathing down our necks… might as well right?
So, while at Blackpoint, again, we hung out with several other boat families. It was really cool to see such a large and diverse group of kids (and adults) hanging out, having fun, and getting along so well despite our many differences. Isn’t that the way the world is supposed to be?
It’s funny how boat kids will amuse themselves. The simple fact is that there’s often a higher degree of creativity required to stay amused when you aren’t surrounded by toys and video games. What do boats kids do? Well, do art projects, chase each other with sticks, or have impromptu sword fights with 3′ bean pods. You’ll see.
This video felt a bit cobbled together in the end. I suppose it’s just because the variety of clips ended up being a bit random instead of linear like they typically are. Ah, they can’t all be winners I guess. To make up for it… I’ll show you how to set up “The Bahemian Hotspot”!
How’s that? 🙂
Thanks for watching!!
