Moving A Westsail 42 & Discovering Water In The Diesel Tanks | Sailboat Story 154

Tambi and Ben head to Florida to move a Westsail 42 from West Palm to Green Cove Springs where they will spend the next 9 months getting the boat ready for long term cruising.

The plan is to knock out this little relocation trip within the span of a week or so. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to Ben and Tambi, the fuel tanks are contaminated with a significant amount of sludge, water, aluminum shavings, and remnants of dirt dobber nests. Of course they don’t realize any these things, but they soon will.
