DIY Diesel Fuel Polishing System For Our Boat | Sailboat Story 222
We build an integrated diesel fuel polishing system in our sailboat’s engine room by utilizing existing filters and plumbing. To so so, we simply branched off the return line, installed a fuel pump and a few valves, and then plumbed back into the return manifold. This simple set up not only allows us to polish our diesel fuel, but it also provides the ability to pump diesel fuel to and from any of our boat’s 3 fuel tanks.
