Alabaster Bay Play Day YAY! | Sailboat Story 126

We swim, snorkel, sail, and paddle board at Alabaster Bay!

Alabaster Bay in Eleuthera is one of our very favorite anchorages. The water is incredibly clear, the beach is simply beautiful, and the anchorage itself it nicely sheltered from the prevailing easterly winds.

There’s not much else in this area. No restaurants, no marina, no grocery store – but the reason Alabaster Bay is so wonderful is because it lacks those amenities. Part of the beauty of this place is that there are usually very few other people here, and it’s those cruiser conveniences that tend to attract the crowd. No crowd here. Just an unspoiled, natural island paradise.

Of all the places we’ve been in the Bahamas, Alabaster Bay ranks very, VERY highly on our list of favorite places.
