SEO-stuff:
I’ve spent the weekend aboard with my dog Jökull. The stove has been great although I have learned one important lesson. This morning at 5:00 AM I woke up freezing! The stove had run out of fuel, so I got up to transfer some diesel from the main tank to the small tank only to find out that the main tank was also running low. It was pitch black outside, cold and raining. Standing outside half naked waiting for a 20 liter jerry-can to empty into the main tank I believe I learned that I need to check the fuel level in the small tank BEFORE going to bed!

One viewer asked about the fuel consumption of the Refleks 66 stove.
low: 2.8 liters per day
high: 8.6 liters per day
So far I’ve only had it on low and even at that setting it gets almost too hot down below. My biggest concern right now is air circulation.

Great news! I got a berth in Skive! That’s to say I’m still waiting for the contract, but everything should be ok. I’m going to sail Obelix up there in the middle of November. That’s in about three weeks. I may or may not get some company aboard form one of the guys that were aboard the first two days of my summer cruise. It would be awesome to have a little company. But if it doesn’t work out I’ll still enjoy the trip. And I am very much looking forward to bringing you guys along.

I haven’t read it yet, so I don’t know if it’s true but in Lin and Larry Paradys second book “Saraphyns European adventures” I believe they describe parts of Limfjorden. I’ve ordered a copy of their book, and if I pass by any of the places mentioned in the book, I’ll point them out to you guys. My plan is to cruise the fjord next summer so if I miss some places I’ll get to them then. I’ve put a link in the description for the book.

In my last update, I mentioned that I wanted to add some more light down below especially for sailing at night. I finally have all the necessary pieces. Hopefully, by the time I do the next update video I’ll be able to show you the results.
