What started in Sweden as a dream turned into the adventure of a lifetime. Along the way, we’ve faced storms, setbacks, and moments that tested us. We’ve been rescued at sea, lived without a boat for a short period of time, and experienced both the toughest and most beautiful parts of life on the water. ⛵️

If you're new to our channel, welcome! 🩵 We’re Linn and Erik, a Swedish couple in our late 20s who quit our jobs, rented out our apartment, and set off to sail from Stockholm to the Mediterranean together with our sausage dog. We started the journey in our unique 33 foot sailboat from 1980, which we sold in Kiel, and luckily one week after we bought a new boat, a Bavaria 37, from 2000 more suited for our adventures ahead.

In 2026, Swedish sailors Linn and Erik live full-time aboard their Beneteau Oceanis 45 on the French Riviera with their miniature dachshund, Nora. Having resigned from corporate careers in Stockholm, they successfully navigated the Baltic Sea, English Channel, and Atlantic Iberia to reach the Mediterranean. The crew manages their own digital cruising guide business while documenting the technical realities of off-grid sailing, cross-border yacht upgrades, and extensive offshore passage making.
