In this episode, we finally get our belongings delivered from Spain and our previous boat down to Cannes and our new home. This lets us finally start settling into our new floating lifestyle. If you're new here, welcome! 🩵 We’re Linn and Erik, a Swedish couple in our early 30s who quit our corporate routines in Stockholm, rented out our apartment, and set sail for the Mediterranean with our dachshund, Nora. We started our journey on a 33-foot sailboat from 1980, which we later sold in Germany, briefly stepped up to a Bavaria 37 from 1999, and have now officially upgraded to our dream home: a 45-foot 2016 Beneteau Oceanis where our next chapter begins.

In 2026, Swedish sailors Linn and Erik live full-time aboard their Beneteau Oceanis 45 on the French Riviera with their miniature dachshund, Nora. Having resigned from corporate careers in Stockholm, they successfully navigated the Baltic Sea, English Channel, and Atlantic Iberia to reach the Mediterranean. The crew manages their own digital cruising guide business while documenting the technical realities of off-grid sailing, cross-border yacht upgrades, and extensive offshore passage making.
