Nature Power Marine Grade 400 Watt Wind Generator Installation & Review
May 24, 2021 by S/V Full Send | Language: EN Play Time: 00:19:09 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

We needed to make power during night sails, so we looked for quality and affordable wind generators. We decided on Nature Power after a friend’s recommendation, and tackled trying to install with little knowledge on electrical stuff. The controller ended up being faulty out of the box. After getting a new one sent from the company for free, everything worked as advertised.
This isn’t a paid promotion. Hoping it helps anyone looking to buy this product in the future.
Pacific Crossing Update: The wind generator/turbine helped out immensely during our 23 days from the Galapagos to French Polynesia. Instead of needing to turn the engine on every hour or so for 20 mins, we’d turn it on every 4 hours for for a recharge when the wind was blowing around 15-16 knots. 18 knots and over we sometimes were able to go an entire night without turning the engine on to charge. Well worth the investment in our opinion.
