We finally start the 24 day Pacific Ocean Crossing, sailing from the Galapagos waters and heading towards the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. We do some offshore fishing, catch some Mahi Mahi and Yellowfin Tuna! We have some bilge water that just can’t get pumped out with the boat heeling over so we pull up the floorboards and start using a bucket. We celebrate crossing the halfway mark (1500 miles) with some cold beers!
