Traveling To Familiar Grounds - Ep. 146 RAN Sailing

It’s been a nice surprise that the area we’ve been traveling in for the past few months have had such great Nordic influence. A trip to Poulsbo made us feel like home and we got to experience going through the Ballard locks on lake Union. Then it was time to fly to our home away from Ran, Sweden, and meet our families and friends after 1,5 years!

We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat Ran, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.
