It’s time to move on and sail to new destinations but before leaving Curaçao we attend a cruising flea market and sell some treasures from the bilge. Shabby goes in retirement on the island as we pick up our new dinghy and we’re happy as kids on Christmas 🙂
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.

RAN Sailing
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we sold everything we owned and saved money for 1,5 years while living aboard our 40-foot custom built aluminium sailboat. Then we untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. After sailing half way around the world, we welcomed our daughter in the end of 2019 and bought a bigger boat (Najad 440) that we're now cruising on as a family.
