Our arrival into Thailand didn’t go so well but with the holidays coming up and a visit from my brother on the horizon, we knew that Thailand would turn itself around!
To celebrate Christmas, we managed to once again meet up with Carlos from 22 South, this time at Phi Phi Island. Poor Carlos was by himself as Linda was back home working, so we made sure to celebrate in style with a famous “Paella de la Mama!” and a snorkel.
Then it was time for my brother to visit and we got to explore our first Thai Hong, a very shallow river and then found a Buddha statue that even made Thomas look short. To top it all off, we hunkered down to weather a early season Tropical Storm. I think it’s fairly safe to say his visit was quite eventful!
