58 - Sailing S/V Julia Across the Pacific: Part 1
Apparently, we liked sailing crossing the Pacific Ocean so much, we just had to do it again! This time we hopped on board s/v Julia, a Helia Evolution, to help her owners Tom and Susan learn all about offshore sailing.
After tucking Starry Horizons in safe and sound in Tonga, we set off on an epic journey back to the States. Four flights and 60 hours of travel will take it out of you! But our reward was time with family before taking off on the first leg of our voyage, down to San Francisco and under the Golden Gate Bridge!

Welcome to Out Chasing Stars! We're Admiral Amy and Captain David and we're currently exploring the world on s/v Starry Horizons, our Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 catamaran. We started out (nervously!) watching our boat get launched in La Rochelle, France in October of 2014. Since then we've completed an entire world circumnavigation, sailing over 37,000nm, and documented it all here on YouTube. We started making these videos to show our family and friends what life was like on a sailboat, and we're still amazed that other people have also started following along.
