The sail from Curaçao to Colombia takes you around one of the potentially most challenging sailing routes in the world because of how the wind and sea state can build up.
In the three day three night passage, we didn’t have this problem but we did have to dodge a lot of lightening storms and when we finally arrived in Santa Marta, the lightening storm caught us up!

We're a UK family who have saved over many years to live the dream of travelling the world with our kids. We sold our belongings, closed our business and rented our house to buy a 20 year old sailboat . A background as RYA instructors, flotilla skippers and RNLI crew only partly prepared us for the challenges of a live-aboard life!
