OVERNIGHT From the Berrys to Eleuthera (MJ Sailing – EP 56)

Even though we found a PERFECT anchorage in the Bahamas, weather was telling us that it was time to move out.

With NW winds turning more north and bringing uncomfortable swells into our anchorage, we were looking for an out as soon as possible. Plans had been to get to Eleuthera to settle in and do boat work, so when the first weather window came up…we took it!

The overall trip was going to be 80 miles, with 60 miles from harbour entrance to harbour entrance. Wanting to make a daylight approach to Eleuthera because of the many rocks and shoals, a nighttime passage was the best option for us.

Cheers from the Bahamas!

Thank you SO MUCH to our Patrons. These amazing supporters help keep us on the boat, our camera equipment up to date, and the videos coming. Without our patrons, these videos would not be possible.
