This week we take to opening up our visual space a little bit inside the boat. Admittedly, I thought we were cutting out the large windows along the sides of the hull, and I was SUPER excited about it, but it turns out that we’re just taking off the flanges the run around the interior of our cabin sides. They were originally added at the factory to protect the sill during travel and the build, but now we’re ready for them to come off.

This is so we’ll be able to blend the fairing from our tape lines up, and get the entire surface ready for primer. But once they start to come off, MAN does it make a huge difference to our view. The space feels like it’s opened up by 20%!!

We also hop on our friend Francis’ charter boat, Pal-o-mine, to partake in Kentmorr’s yearly Blessing of the Fleet. A local pastor comes out to give each captain and crew a blessing for a bountiful season on the water, and then we pass under a spray of water put out by the local fire boats.

Not much else to say except things are rapidly coming along now and there’s going to be so many exciting changes coming over the next few months!

We hope you enjoy!!
