In this episode, there’s still ( again and again) problems on Sagar Rani. All of those sailing problems seem infinite! Like every boat, isn’t it? We got surprised by the genset not working anymore… a little bit of stress, because with no engine, and clouds blocking the sun to hit our solar panels, how could we make it with no electricity? For that night, we unplugged the fridge and freezer, and kept the use of all the eletronical stuff ( lights, and even the shower pump) to a minimum. 2 months in Bali, still waiting for the new engine to arrive. We got good news, but also bad news… Not saying that after two months at the same place, the hull looks like a reef!
Despite all of these, we managed to enjoy our time here…. because after all, we’re in Bali! Could be worse, isn’t it?
P.S we had one of the biggest sailing vessel in the world as neighbors…. Aquijo, 86m long for 91m high!! A week on it is 450 000$…. crazy!

We are a young couple sailing around the world on a small budget but with big dreams, startint in Indonesia and heading where the wind will blows. Sagar rani, our vessel, is our tiny ecological floating house. An alternative and simple lifestyle: exactly the one we always wanted.
