(English below 😉🇬🇧) Une fois nos copains retrouvés à Dzaoudzi, nous mettons les voiles pour aller explorer ce magnifique lagon de Mayotte. À ce qu’on nous a dit, le lagon est d’une clarté incroyable, les coraux des fonds marins bien vivants et la vie sous-marine foisonnante, sans parler des tortues qui sont ultra-nombreuses… Allons voir si tout ça est vrai! Indice: on va en avoir plein les yeux, sans parler des barbecues et du fait de profiter des dernières semaines où on peut vivre en bikini toute la journée!! On profite également de notre petit temps en nav pour s’occuper d’un problème des voiliers et bateaux en ferrociments: les coulures de rouille. Pour les traiter, il faut casser du béton et faire des trous…. C’est quelque chose qui fait toujours un peu peur!

🇬🇧Once our friends found in Dzaoudzi, we set sail to explore this magnificent lagoon of Mayotte. From what we have been told, the lagoon is incredibly clear, the corals are alive and the underwater life is abundant, not to mention the turtles which are very numerous … Let’s go and see if all this is true! Hint: we’ll be amazed and we’ll enjoy these last weeks where we can spend all day long just in bikini! We also take advantage of our little time in the nav to take care of a problem with sailboats and ferrocement boats: rust drips. We really need to repair this problem! To treat them, you have to break concrete and make holes …. It’s something that is always a little scary!
