La SUITE tant attendue! 🥳🥳 On continue sur la suite de la traversée… Comme nous vous l’avons expliqué dans les jours précédents, notre route vers la Tanzanie consiste d’abord à descendre sud jusqu’au sud des Chagos afin d’avoir le courant équatorial dans notre sens; en faisant route directe, nous aurions eu vents et courants contre nous… Pas très tentant tout ça! C’est aussi le moment où l’on passe l’Équateur… 2 fois! Un moment toujours très symbolique pour tous les navigateurs. Mais nous avons aussi une mauvaise nouvelle, mais aussi une bonne… Bref, on vous raconte tout ça.

🇬🇧THIS IS IT!! The next part so much were waiting for! We continue on the rest of the crossing … As we explained to you in the previous days, our route to Tanzania consists first of descending south to the south of the Chagos in order to have the equatorial current in our meaning; by going direct, we would have had winds and currents against us … Not all that tempting! It is also the moment when we cross Ecuador … twice! A moment always very symbolic for all browsers. But we also have bad news, but also good … Anyway, we’re telling you all about it.
