It seems to be the topic of the month at the moment. A life raft on a Cruising Cat? , Yes or No!.
When it comes to safety the line is clearly drawn in the sand here in our plans, and the answer is Yes. The next question, where to put it? You guessed it, another massive hole in the bridge deck and I have the solution. Have fun watching me modify yet another region of the Catamaran as the work never ends here.
This stuff isn’t cheap , and although there is the option to rent a life raft locally, the same cant be said offshore so we will have to allocate some funds towards this essential piece of passage making gear.
