Ep 327 | Our New Anchor Arrives! Sailing Nutshell, Darwin

We are in the marina and ticking off the boat jobs.

Magnus replaces the deteriorated fuel line on Nutshell.

We get our new red Altex bottom paint ready to up on the careening poles.

We also score a few not quite out-of-date flares which will be great for Indonesia.

We remove the old anchor chain ready for the new one. Our anchor and chain arrive. We’ve chosen a Rocna one this time because it should fit in the bow sprit a little better than the old Manson Supreme.

We measure out the chain and Magnus marks each 10m interval with cable ties and white paint.

Our beautiful new ice maker arrives so now we can have chilled drinks… wonderful!

We get our long-awaited order from Sailrite. It’s now time to start making the new cockpit cushions out of Sunbrella.

Thanks for watching.

Until next time…

Wendy and Magnus
