Ep 288 | The Search for Aboriginal Rock Art and a Beach BBQ, Kimberley, Sailing Nutshell

Maia Cove is a lovely, tranquil anchorage and after catching a few fish we spend the evening on the beach smoking them on the BBQ.

We have heard about wonderful rock art paintings at Pauline Bay so we sail over for the day and spend over an hour trying to find the track in. Eventually we are rewarded with the most spectacular Wandjina and Geon Geon rock art paintings.

We then sail the short distance to Jar Island for more exploring and rock art investigating and we are not disappointed.

Thanks for watching.

Until next time…

Wendy and Magnus
