It is back to just Kel and Al, having farewelled Al's parents in Katakolon. We depart at 'silly o'clock' again and put all the sails up in the dark! It was nice to see a Greek warship during departure too, reminding us of our earlier careers.
You will be aware we haven't had great fishing luck so we were stoked to get another fine eater as we sailed north. The Ionian did not let us down with great sailing conditions and we made Vathy in good time. Exploring this village was great fun but we were stunned by how busy this beautiful anchorage was. Was this a sign of things to come?

Al, from New Zealand and Kel from Australia met through work in 2010 and have been together ever since. Always infected by the travel bug they finally decided to head off on an adventure and started with Vietnam and Laos before heading to Sri Lanka, India, then Cambodia and Indonesia. Their mission is to explore as many off the beaten track places as possible through a slow travel philosophy on a tight budget.
UPDATE!!! After a few years of saving (thanks Covid) they finally did it. They now own DAKINI, a gorgeous Lagoon 421, and are (re) learning to sail while exploring the Mediterranean.
