We need to make tracks north up Turkey's West Coast, which means finding some opportunities to sail, doing some motoring, and hitting some remote anchorages.
We have to cover about 150miles in 10 days, and this starts with a few days sailing from Bodrum to Kusadasi. Unfortunately this is against the prevailing conditions but we make the most of it to do some fishing, and explore this much more quiet cruising ground in Turkey.

Al, from New Zealand and Kel from Australia met through work in 2010 and have been together ever since. Always infected by the travel bug they finally decided to head off on an adventure and started with Vietnam and Laos before heading to Sri Lanka, India, then Cambodia and Indonesia. Their mission is to explore as many off the beaten track places as possible through a slow travel philosophy on a tight budget.
UPDATE!!! After a few years of saving (thanks Covid) they finally did it. They now own DAKINI, a gorgeous Lagoon 421, and are (re) learning to sail while exploring the Mediterranean.
