Here we’re looking at ways of upgrading your Hobie 16 or any other catamaran.
You can really transform pretty much any boat by replacing the following:
Mainsail – maybe for an ex Worlds or Europeans sail
Jib – maybe for an ex Worlds or Europeans sail
Trampoline – upgrade that PVC for a nice mesh tramp
Rudder Blades – if you want to go really fast, the EPO3s are the way forward
Rudder system parts – cams, plungers, bushing, rudder pins
Ropes – trapeze adjusters, sheets, tramp lacing, jib halyard
Rigging – if you don’t know how old it is, it’s worth replacing before your mast comes down!
