The 50th Aniversary Prindle North Americans

As a phrase in Texas goes, “Come and take it!” That is what we want from the competitors that plan on attending the Westwood Wealth Management Prindle 50th Anniversary North American Regatta. We have many sponsors lined up, including Murrays, SLO Sail and Canvas, C&C Sailmakers, Affinity Capital, ASF smokers, Republic Boot Company, and many more. These generous sponsors are making this event possible both through monetary and prize donations. As of this writing, we have 14 boats signed up to race, and our goal is 50 boats for 50 years. This is the call to get your Prindle and trailer it to Texas for June 3-5. We will have 3 days of racing on the gulf coast with a mix of buoy and distance races. The regatta will be held within driving distance of one of the great culture centers of the south, Houston, with things such as NASA, the phenomenal Houston Museum of Natural Science, and many other attractions. Directly across the ferry on Galveston, there is Moody Gardens, the Galveston Seaport Museum, the tall ship Elissa and much more. It will be an event that even the family can come and attend. We will hold nightly gatherings, with drawings at the H2 Brewhouse and Scratch Kitchen. For lodging, there is camping on the beach with a 20 dollar permit, several hotels within 30 minutes of the venue, and many island Airbnb and VRBO style lodgings around the race site. Y’all make some plans to come visit us and “Come and take it!” at the Westwood Wealth Management Prindle 50th Anniversary North American Regatta in Bolivar Texas this June.
