The weight of the bag when used was around 40 kgs so well under half filled so the same bag will be good for the lighter sailor.
I feel that using this technique – it’s worth trying it out under safe – shallow conditions first before needing to use it for real. It should give you much more confidence. The other main consideration when solo sailing is to not become separated from the boat – so be careful!
