It is possible on the Hobie 16 or any other boat with a fully battened jib (without self tacking) For the jib to gybe around the front of the forestay, meaning that it gets stuck there until you pretty much gybe again.

Since the late eighties, Wildwind has gained a reputation as one of the best sailing holiday companies in the world. Our flagship centre in Vassiliki, Greece, has been running since 1987 and runs strong on the extremely high number of repeat visitors who come back year after year.
