Timex Iron man global trainer – 23.00 knots
Strava on the iPhone – 22.6 knots
Locosys GW 60 – 23.49 (peak)
Locosys GW 60 – 22.79 (over 100m)

So there is some difference between the different devices. I am most convinced by the GW 60 as on there it says the averages over differnt distances which surely must be the most accurate.
