Boat Life: Living the Dream with Latina Sailor
May 05, 2024 by Huub Vlogs | Language: EN Play Time: 00:18:24 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

Welcome back for another episode in our journey to live the sailing dream! In this installment, we’ll be diving into various destinations as we navigate through Martinique, while tackling boat maintenance and experiencing an exhilarating hike up Mt. Martinique.
Caribbean Dreams in Anoir and Mount B
Our adventure begins at the serene haven of Anoir, a small Bay tucked away with space for just a few boats. We dropped anchor here for three nights as we immersed ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere.
Just a few days after, we crossed the Fort de France channel with the goal of reaching Mount B, the highest peak in Martinique. Along the journey, a boat part needed replacing, so we made a quick stop at the marine store.
Exploring FS Blei
A highlight from our journey was our time in FS Blei. A calm, picturesque anchorage situated just before reaching St Pierre. Despite the occasional rolly feeling at night, it provided a breathtaking sight for sunset and sunrise.
The beauty of this anchorage was only enhanced by our delightful evening dinners and relaxing breakfasts overlooking the serene views.
Conquering Mt. Martinique
To add excitement to our adventure, we ventured up Mt. Martinique for a hiking excursion, making sure to take in all the breathtaking views along the way.
The lush vegetation and spectacular panoramas of the Caribbean landscape kept our spirits high even though we didn’t reach the top. But who could complain with such beauty surrounding us?
Embracing Life On The Water
In our ongoing journey, we’ve realized that the true essence of living this dream lifestyle is being in good health, enjoying each other’s company and appreciating the simple joys found in nature. While we miss the thrill of reaching mountaintops, experiences like these have only made us more appreciative of where we are.
