On a Slow Boat to Harpswell
A pleasant crossing of the Gulf of Maine is punctuated by a surprise thunderstorm which has me scrambling to take in sail. Then it’s a return to light and baffling winds, swift tidal currents and–as we are now in Maine–numerous rocks and ledges to keep in mind. Challenging stuff!
