Persistent southerly winds have me hanging on my hook in Annapolis for several days, poised to begin my journey south to Hampton, Virginia, which will be my takeoff point for the Florida Keys. With these winds also come more warm and humid weather, which does not have me thinking of the lower latitudes just yet, but I know that soon the cold northerlies will set in and I will be well motivated to move.
