When we first bought our sailboat we had more family and friends reach out and ask to come aboard. Considering we hadn’t even finished sailing school we postponed everyone till the holidays. The idea was in the 6 months leading up to the holidays we’d learn how to sail, learn how to read the charts and find anchorages. Then we could meet up with family and friends in the Bahamas.
Sounds like a perfect plan…right?!?
Today we’re sharing our experience along with our mistakes, what we learned and what we did right.
