After a quick night’s rest at St. Augustine, we start our final push. Our final big jump down South to promised sunshine. Remembering our promise to ourselves not to push too hard too fast, we pulled into Ponce De Leon inlet and rested for the night before getting to our final destination of Lake Worth. At Ponce De Leon, we even get a chance to jump onto the Intercoastal Waterways (ICW) for a short bit which was fun. And of course, there’s dolphins! Once we get to Lake worth, we take a deep breathe, take the layers off and start to enjoy the sunshine finally.

Lake worth also signifies the final chapter in our first sailing season. It is the place where we start to prepare for our first international trip as sailors. We start our preparations for the Bahamas!!
