SAILING NEWBIES TAKE A TRIP | Our first weekend getaway on our new sailing catamaran

This weekend we took one small sail for us, but one giant leap for our adventure!.The gelcoat repairs are finally done and it’s time to get off the dock in Charleston. We chose a remote anchorage about a 40 mile sail south of Charleston to spend the weekend, relax, and continue learning all that we can.

Want more?! How about a little FAQ
❓Why Folsom Ocean Views?!
⚓️Because Folsom is Charles’ last name and it’s a play on the Johnny Cash Lyric “Folsom Prison Blues”.
❓Why a #Catamaran?
⚓️Jes gets really seasick while #sailing and the upstairs galley really helps when we #travel.
❓You both work full time jobs?
⚓️Yup. Charles has a traditional 9-5 position as the Director of Customer Success and Jes owns her own business doing art commissions for clients. #WorkingandSailing
❓Where to Next?
⚓️We are not sure. Part of the fun of this #DigitalNomad #lifesytle is that you can pick your #adventures

Love,
