The passage to Batavia Marina in Jakarta was an uphill slog through washing-machine water. Along the way our prop began chattering, which meant Jamie having a look underwater. But with all the detritus swilling around it was not a job he relished.
We meet the SeaMonkeys who are working hard to do something about the plastic and trash problem in our oceans. They’ve found a practical way of involving local communities in solving the problem. It’s not just recycling and creating awareness of the plastic pollution in our oceans, their start-ups are providing work for local people.
