It’s the longest day of the year this week! We’ve been living aboard our wide beam canal boat for five months now. While Jamie’s still waiting for autumn, for Liz nothing beats a British summer; you feel it everywhere, in the light, in the trees, in the birdsong, and in the wildlife. When asked what we missed most while living abroad, “the seasons” was always close behind family, friends and pubs!
