Yes this is the only sailboat rally in the world right now! With the world currently closed, we’ve been given the opportunity to sail with five other yachts around the most dangerous part of Borneo. We have a military escort, so we’re not too worried about pirates…
The Sail Malaysia Passage to the East Yacht Rally usually takes three months from Langkawi to Tawau, but this year (like so many other yacht rallies) it was cancelled. Except for the final leg around the northern tip of Sabah.
Meet the boats as we set off along the western coast of Sabah.
